At least four suspected criminals were killed in a firing incident at a district court in Rawalpindi on Saturday.

According to sources, three unidentified gunmen opened fire at a man, his brother and his nephew who were being taken to the court for a hearing.

Sources added that, atleast four attackers attacked the rival group in the vicinity of Sessions Court and escaped from the scene. However, one out of four attackers was arrested.

Lawyers of Faisalabad court has protested against the killings and demanded immediate transfer of responsible police authorities.
