Pakistan beat Sri Lanka in 2nd Test
Pakistan on Saturday beat Sri Lanka in their 2nd test cricket match by nine wickets. With this victory, Pakistan went 1-0 up in the three-match series.
Mohammad Hafeez (59 not out) and Azhar Ali (29 not out) took the hosts home.
Earlier, five wickets for Saeed Ajmal helped dismiss Sri Lanka for 257 in their second innings, giving Pakistan a winning target of 94 runs on the fourth afternoon of the second test.
Paranavitana top-scored for Sri Lanka with 72 runs. Saeed Ajmal with 5-68 was Pakistan’s most impressive bowler. The first Test ended in a draw at Abu Dhabi last week.
