President Asif Zardari on Tuesday appointed Chaudhry Zaka Ashraf as Chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

Ashraf is considered to be very close to President Asif Ali Zardari and is also a member of PPP’s central executive committee. Ashraf was appointed president and chief executive of ZTBL by PPP in 2008. The man from Bahawalpur has also been the chairman of Pakistan Sugar Mills Association.
