Deputy Convener of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), Dr Farooq Sattar on Thursday said that the allegations made by Wikileaks holding MQM responsible for the May 12 incident in 2007 are baseless.

Addressing a press conference, Sattar said that May 12 was a horrible act and a conspiracy against his party.

In an effort to clear MQM’s name from the blame Dr Farooq Sattar said, “The MQM was not involved in the May 12 incident.” Farooq Sattar reinforced that 14 of their workers died that day.
