Pak cruise into Asian Hockey championship final
The high profile clash between India and Pakistan in the final group match of the Asian Champions Trophy ended in 2-2 draw on Friday.
Both the teams displayed aggressive attitude since the beginning of the match which was later tied 2-2.
Pakistan’s Waqas Sharif made the first goal in the second half of the tensed match followed by Mohammad Irfan’s penalty corner.
India defended its position by attacking in the last twenty minutes and managed to make two goals to tie the match.
On the score chart, Pakistan lead with nine points after four matches, followed by India on eight, Japan on seven and South Korea on six.
