FC activated in Karachi: Mirza
Sindh’s Senior Minister and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Zulfiqar Mirza on Tuesday rejected calls for bringing in the army to rid Karachi of troublemakers.
Talking to media here Mirza said the army’s services were not required at the moment in Karachi, adding that, however, it could be called in if necessary.
He said the Frontier Constabulary (FC) had been activated in the city.
On the subject of the People’s Amn Committee (PAC), the senior minister said that the leadership of the committee had a clean record and there was no need to malign it.
