Karachi killings claims 11 more lives
Two people were killed in a Quaid e Azam Colony area of Gulshan e Iqbal on late Wednesday increasing the death toll to eleven.
Earlier on the day, eight people including a lawyer and political workers were killed in separate incidents of violence in various parts of the city.
According to police in Ancholi area unknown armed men opened fire and injured a man who was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead. He was later identified as Junaid advocate who is said to belong to a banned organization.
A man was gunned down on resisting robbers in Shah Faisal Colony.
Three bullet riddled bodies with torture scars were found dumped from Nazimabad Gol market and Garden areas.
Gunmen shot dead Ahmed Baloch and Tariq Baloch in PIB Colony near Baloch Para. According to Pakistan People's Party the deceased were their members.
Khamiso Khan, a national party activist, was gunned down in Gulistan-e-Jauhar. The incident sent a wave of terror in the neighbourhood.
