Aaj news journalist and anchor of program “TARGET” Syed Shehryar escaped in a brutal attack by some unknown armed men in the area of Gulistan-e- Johar, Karachi on Wednesday.

On Wednesday, his car came under attack near Rabia city in Gulistan-e- Johar, while he was leaving his home, several rounds were shot at the daring host’s vehicle but fortunately Sherry escaped unharmed. The host had been receiving threats for the sometime and today the threats materialized in the form of a brutal attack.

Talking to Aaj news, Sherry said that, “I will continue to do my work and these acts can't stop me”.

During the conversation to Aaj news, The minister of information Sindh, Sharjeel memon and Member PPP Sharmila farooqi highly condemned the attack.

While, The Senior vice president PFUJ, Tariq Chaudhry, President National press club Islamabad Afzal Butt and other journalists also condemned the attack on Syed shehryar.

Sherry has to his credit the exposure of several crime rackets, black  marketers and officers involved in corruption and bribe taking.

The host along with his team and with the aid of Police tries to uncover the darker sides of our community, raiding sites and people that are rumored to be associated with elements involved in disservice to the society.
