Situation normalized in Karachi today
The law and order situation in Karachi here Today have came in the control as the situation normalized in the city after the violence yesterday.
CNG stations, Petrol pumps, shops, restaurants resumed business on Friday. Earlier, the markets remained shuttered for a day.
Police are deployed to take out efforts to control any further violence in the metropolis.
By Thursday evening, Altaf Hussain appealed for peace and asked his party workers to end the protests that were being staged in various parts of Sindh.
Karachi saw a sharp rise in violence on Thursday as 15 people were gunned down and over 37 vehicles torched in protest of Mirza’s statement.
According to the police, Atleast 253 suspects were arrested after the choas.
On Thursday all the markets and transport remained closed in the commercial hub of Karachi where many industries and businesses were also shuttered as staff stayed away from work due to poor law and order situation.
