CNG pumps closed for two days in Sindh, Balochistan
CNG stations across Sindh will remain closed for two days from 9 am on Monday to 12 am midnight on Tuesday.
Sui Southern Gas Company and the CNG Association teams will keep an eye on the fuel stations and will cut off the supply to any stations found supplying customers during these hours. They will also be fined.
Whereas, some CNG stations remained opened in karachi early monday.
Yesterday, All Pakistan CNG Association president Ghiyas Abdullah Paracha said they will no more cooperate with the government in its energy conservation drive and has decided to not to close CNG stations in the Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The business community connected to the CNG business expressed serious concerns against the decision of the federal government to increase the duration of loadshedding by curtailing gas supply to CNG stations.
The Closure of Kandanwari gas field has caused closing of CNG stations in Sindh and including Karachi, and Balochistan.
