Karachi violence: MQM holds emergency Meeting
The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has called an emergency session of the coordination committee in Karachi and London to review the rising wave of killings in Karachi and will announce its future strategy.
A statement issued by the MQM late Wednesday said the session has been summoned after ongoing incidents of bloodshed in the city particularly in areas of Orangi Town including Gulfam Abad, Qasba Colony, Katti Pahari along with other parts of the town.
Party leaders issued an appeal that those who were fleeing the violence in Qasba and other badly affected areas of the city be facilitated and provided aid from the government.
The statement urged party follower to wait for the announcement of the future line strategy before taking any action.
