Rawalpindi Rams won the National T20 Cup defeating Karachi Dolphins by 9 runs in the super over at Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad on Friday.

Chasing 165, Rawalpindi Rams were all out for 164 in 20.00 overs as Awais Zia top-scoring with 43 off 20 balls. He hit one sixe and seven fours. Umar Amin (32) and middle-order batsman Adnan Mufti (31) were other prominenet scorers.

For Karachi Dolphins, Sohail Khan was the most successful bowler with five wickets for 23 runs while Azam Hussain took two wickets.

Earlier, Karachi Dolphins batted first after loseing the toss and made 164 for five in the allotted 20 overs. Rameez Raja made 64 with five sixes and four fours and Asad Shafiq (36) with six fours.

Both teams went for Super Over. Rawalpindi made 16 runs in their Super over and Karachi Could make just seven runs in their Super over.
