Elections deferred in three AJK constituencies
All the arrangements for Azad Kashmir elections have been finalized but the Azad Kashmir Election commission on Saturday rescheduled the elections for three constituencies of refugees that are residing in Pakistan for different reason.
According to the MHC, the elections in LA 30, LA 36 and LA 41were postponed.
According to the Election Commission sources, all the arrangements for June 26 elections have been finalized. Total number of registered voters in Azad Kashmir is 339,926, the commission said.
At 14,351 polling stations, 15,000 policemen will be deployed while more than 1,000 polling stations have been termed sensitive.
It is pertinent to mention here that the campaigning for the elections was wrapped up Friday night.
