The five Pakistani children who were stuck in India for the past 11 years will return to their homes here today, Aaj news reported.

When Aaj news aired this issue on May 19, Pakistani High commission springs into action to ensure their repatriation, who were living in Merath, India for the past 11 years.

With all of them hailing from Karachi  including 19-years Nishat shahid, 18- years Rabia Shahid, 17-years sania Shahid, 12-years Haria Shaihid and 11- years Raas Muhammad Shahid. The children have been stuck in Merath since 14 January 2001, waiting for Pakistani officials to bring them back home.

While talking to Aaj News Muhammad Shahis said “For their familiy, the prolonged separation from their children was unbearable. They are anxious to meet their children.

The Indian police caught the family of Muhammad Shahid and Najma Parveen due to Expired visa in 2001.
