A  blast occurred at the entrance of a private bank in I-8 sector of Islamabad on Monday, killing a security guard and wounding 3 people, police and officials said.

There has been a considerable amount of damage to the front of the bank. Emergency has been declared at all hospitals. As per initial reports, All the injured has been taken to the hospital.

Police authorities have confirmed that the blast was a suicide attack.

There is no information on the intensity of the blast. While, the Rescue teams have reached the site.

The head of the suicide bomber has been found, Wajid Durrani IG Islamabad said.
