Pakistan A wins one-day series against Afghanistan
Leftarm fast bowler Sadaf Hussain took 4-46 as a second-string Pakistan side defeated Afghanistan by 150 runs in the second one-dayer of their three-match series.
The decisive win at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on Friday gave Pakistan A an insurmountable 2-0 lead in the series with the last game to b centuries while Umar Amin (64) and Sarfraz Ahmed (46 not out) also contributed to an imposing Pakistan A total of 327-7 off 50 overs.
A sizeable crowd of around 3,000 spectators cheered the home team as Afghanistan was bowled out for 177 in 46.5 overs with Samiullah Shinwari (61) the only player to reach a half-century.
Captain Nowroz Mangal and Javed Ahmedi both scored 29 runs each but never threatened to challenge a strong Pakistan total.
