Bangladesh wins toss, opts to bowl against England

Bangladesh will bowl first against England after captain Shakib Al Hasan won the toss for his team's crucial World Cup Group B match on Friday.

Shakib will lead a side showing just one change from its disastrous nine-wicket defeat to the West Indies, bringing in Mahmuduallah Riad in place of Mohammad Ashraful.

England promoted wicketkeeper Matt Prior back to opener to replace the injured Kevin Pietersen, drafted in Ajmal Shahzad for Stuart Broad and brought in all rounder Paul Collingwood in place of spinner Michael Yardy.

Bangladesh must beat England for the first time in Bangladesh to have any real chance of progress to the quarterfinals, while England can clinch a place in the next round alongside India with victory.
