Official news agency says Iran air crash killed 70
Iran's official news agency puts the death toll from Sunday's air crash in the country's northwest at 70 and says 32 people survived.
The Islamic Republic News Agency says the figures come from Red Crescent official Heidar Heidari.
The IranAir passenger jet carrying around 100 people crashed as it was making an emergency landing in the city of Orumiyeh and broke into several pieces. Heavy snow hampered rescue efforts.
