At least five police officials were injured when a suicide bomber blew himself on Friday in Shikarpur.

According to police, on the occasion of Youm-e-Ashore they tried to stop a suspected man, he blew him self with explosive material and as a result he was killed. Five police officials were also sustained injuries in the blast.

Injured police officials were shifted to local hospital for treatment.
