JUI-F announces to part ways with govt
Jamiat-ulma-e-Islam (JUI-F) on Tuesday announced to part ways with the coalition government.
Addressing the media, JUI chief Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman said that it’s not possible for us to further maintain alliance with government after the removal of Azam Khan Swati from office, adding that government did not take us in to confidence before taking this decision.
He said that they would cast their vote against reformed general sells tax bill in parliament.
The Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl faction has seven lawmakers in the 342-member national assembly, 22 in the Senate and had three ministers in the cabinet.
