M.A. Zuberi passes away
M.A. Zuberi, Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Daily Business Recorder and Patron-in-Chief of AAJ News, passed away on Sunday at the age of 90. He was born in U.P. India on July 2, 1920.
M.A. Zuberi is survived by three sons, two daughters and several grandsons and grand daughters. He was suffering from illness since past many years.
M.A. Zuberi, one of the eldest journalists in the sub-continent, was known as the founder of economic and financial journalism in Pakistan.
His funeral prayers will be offered on Monday after Zuhr and he will be buried in the premises of Abdullah Shah Ghazi's shrine.
He was also the recipient of `Sitara-i-Imtiaz' and many other awards.
He joined the profession of journalism under the commands of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah in December 1945 with induction into daily Dawn, Delhi.
