At least 15 people were killed and many others injured when a suicide blast hit a under construction hospital in Hangu on Friday.

Commissioner Kohat said the blast in Pass-Killy area of Hangu was suicide.

15 people were killed while many sustained severe injuries in the attack.

Police and security forces have cordoned off the area following the bomb blast.

The explosion also damaged nearby buildings besides smashing window panes of houses.
