There is no shortage of sugar: Gilani
Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani on Tuesday said that there is no shortage of sugar in the country; this propaganda is amid at defaming government.
He was speaking at 44th foundation day of Pakistan People’s party (PPP) here.
Gilani said that PPP is not a party it’s a mission and we would carry this mission further, he added that PPP has never got power but got responsibilities.
Paying tributes to Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, he said that she was not only the leader of Pakistan, but of the whole world. He directed the Federal Minister for Interior, Rehman Malik for taking measures in this regard to bring the accused to justice immediately.
He said that Benazir Bhutto was martyred in Musharraf’s regime but her thoughts are still alive, informing that five federal miniseries would be transferred to the provinces tomorrow.
The Prime Minister announced that all promises made in the party's manifesto would be fulfilled during the period of five terms. He said that with better strategy and giving incentives for the growers, the country has sufficient stocks of wheat and rice.
