Leader of Jamiat Ulema Islam (F) Maulana Muhammad Khan Sherani on Wednesday was decided to appoint as chairman of Islamic Ideology Council (IIC).

According to sources, Prime Yousuf Raza Gilani contacted to JUI chief Maulana Fazal ur Rehman and congratulated him for Eid.

Prime Minister also told to JUI chief that Maulana Sherani was decided to appoint as IIC chairman.

Maulana Muhammad Khan Sherani was also JUI (F) chief of Balochistan.
