Federal government on Tuesday announced to abolish Saturday’s weekly off from 27th of November, Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has also granted approval of this decision.

According to a notification issued by Federal government, two weekly off had announced in the country to end energy crisis in the country. However electricity demand has automatically reduced now in winter therefore the government has decided to end the Saturday’s off.

As per notification, there will be only one weekly off in offices from November 27, 2010 and government departments will remain open on Saturday.
