Sunni Tehrik (ST) chief Sarwat Aijaz Qadri was saved in assassination attempt on Friday in Pak Pattan.

According to ST spokesman that Sarwat Aijaz Qadri was leading the rally against the attacks on shrines when he was attacked by unknown assailant. His worker was injured in the attack; He was shifted to the hospital for treatment.

After the incident Aerial firing in different parts of Karachi forced people to stay indoors and four vehicles were set fire in the city.
