Pakistan's wholesale price index (WPI) rose 0.26 percent in August from a year ago, and rose 2.21 percent from July's level, the Federal Bureau of Statistics said on Thursday.
Using 200001 as the base year, the WPI stood at 212.16 against 207.57 in July.
