1765 CNG stations set up; 1000 more in pipeline
More than 1765 CNG stations have been established in the country and 1000 more would be set up in three years due to government's liberal policies and participation of private sector.
This was stated by Director General of Hydrocarbon Development Institute of Pakistan (HDIP) Hilal A. Raza.
According to him an investment of Rs 70 billion has been made in the Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) industry, which is providing employment to 30,000 people in the country.
