The State Bank of Pakistan has waived the condition of cash margin on import Letters of Credit (LCs) of leguminous vegetables and dried shelled. SBP on Monday announced this relaxation referring to BPRD Circular Letter No 05 of 2009 dated March 3, 2009. "It has been decided to waive the condition of cash margin requirement on HS Code 0713 (Leguminous Vegetables, Dried Shelled)", SBP said in circular.
Banks have been advised to comply with the above mentioned instructions immediately. However, the other instructions on the subject will remain unchanged, the circular added.
