BJP leader asks Virat Kohli to divorce Anushka Shamra

Nandkishore Gurjar, a member of the legislative assembly and leader of BJP, has asked Indian cricketer Virat Kohli to divorce wife Anushka Sharma. Gurjar made the demand after he accused Anushka of defaming him by using his picture during one of the sequences in the Amazon web series Paatal Lok while capturing the issues of communal violence and disharmony.
"Virat Kohli desh bhakt hai, desh ke liye khele hai. Anushka ko talak de dena chahiye [Virat Kohli is a patriot and has represented India. He should divorce Anushka," Nandkishore told Newsroom Post, reported Pinkvilla.
Paatal Lok, Anushka's debut web series as a producer. Paatal Lok is a Hindi language crime thriller that has been a huge success due to outstanding script, storytelling, and brilliant acting by the likes of Jaideep Ahlawat, Neeraj Kabi. Gurjar has filed a complaint against Anushka under the National Security Act.
This isn't the first time Anushka, as a producer, had to deal with backlash for Paatal Lok, previously she received a legal notice from the Gorkha community of India for hurting the sentiments of Nepali people by using a casteist slur in one of the episodes.
Amongst these controversies, Anushka has announced the season 2 of Paatal Lok. The series currently is enjoying a rating of 7.5 on IMBD. The story revolves around a cop who lands a case of a lifetime while probing an assassination attempt, the case leads him to Paatal Lok, where he makes further terrifying discoveries.
