ISLAMABAD: Former PTV's MD and DG of Radio Pakistan passed away, his funeral prayers will be held today after Asar prayers at sector H 11 graveyard in Islamabad, Aaj news reported. 

As reported, former managing director of Radio Pakistan and well known broad caster has died.

He was born on 9th February 1937 in Mumbai (India). In 1964, he started work with Pakistan Television.

It is pertinent to mention that Nasir was the author of numerous famous books. He also wrote well known dramas like  'Hum jeetay jee masroof rahey', 'Girah neem baz', and 'Gumshuda loug'.
