Mystery of Abeera murder case resolved

LAHORE: CIA police on Saturday claimed to resolved a mystery of the murder of Abeera after arresting three accused involved in the case.
Addressing a press conference, SSP Investigation Rana Ayaz Saleem said that accused Tooba alongwith Farooq-ur-Rehman and Zeeshan had poisoned to death Abeera after she refused to abet them in killing of Babar Javed Butt, the husband of Tooba.
He said that Tooba confessed of having illegal relations with her husband's friend Yousaf Khokhar and killing him by giving him intoxicated juice.
He said that Zeeshan received Rs 20,000 from the accused for arranging poison to be given Babar Javed Butt by Abeera who earlier showed her willingness to abet them in killing Tooba's husband but later she backed out to do so.
The victim Abeera was a student of the Punjab University and lived in a hostel of the varsity, but later she was shifted to Tooba's home in Model Town where she was murdered, SSP added.
All the accused have confessed their crime.
