3-day JI congregation from Nov 21

LAHORE: The Jamaat-e-Islami will hold a 3-day Ijtema (congregation) at the Minar-e-Pakistan from November 21 to 23.

JI leaders are expecting participation of large number of people from all over the country.

A high level meeting held at Mansoora chaired by the JI Secretary General Liaqat Baloch on Monday, reviewed the arrangements of the program. JI Lahore chief Mian Maqsood Ahmed has been appointed Nazim for the Ijtema. He will be assisted by seven deputies.

Besides, 21 committees have been set up from different walks of life to contact people for the moot. The meeting was attended by Dr Farid Ahmed Piracha and others.
