The World Bank has announced twelve billion US dollars emergency aid for developing countries as coronavirus has spread to more than seventy countries around the world.
World Bank Group President David Malpass told BBC, the emergency package includes low-cost loans, grants and technical assistance.
He said it would priorities the poorest and most at-risk countries in distributing aid to counter the effects of the virus.
Meanwhile, World Health Organization has warned of a global shortage of protective equipment to fight coronavirus.
WHO asked companies and governments to increase production by forty percent as the death toll from the respiratory illness mounted. Chinese National Health Commission has reported 119 new confirmed cases down slightly from 125 the previous day.
The total number of cases on the mainland has now reached 80,270.
The number of deaths rose by 38 to bring the total toll for mainland China to 2,981.
In South Korea, coronavirus cases with 516 new cases rose to five thousands with thirty-four deaths.
In the United States, the cases risen to one hundred and death toll raised to nine, in Italy jumped to 79 while France reported its fourth coronavirus death.
In Japan, bringing total to one thousand cases, Indonesia, Ukraine, Argentina and Chile reported their first coronavirus cases.
