All the designated branches of banks have started receiving hajj applications under the government scheme from (Tuesday) Today.
The applications will be received by the banks till the 6th of March, According to a spokesperson of the ministry of religious affairs,
He said banks will also receive forms on Saturday and Sunday, the Hajj application has been computerized and simplified, further added
The spokesperson had said it has finalized all arrangements but barred the designated banks from receiving applications for some technical reasons. He added a new date would be announced soon.
The banks that will receive the Hajj applications are Habib Bank Limited, United Bank Limited, National Bank of Pakistan, MCB Bank Limited, Allied Bank Limited, Bank of Punjab, Meezan Bank, Bank Al Habib, Zarai Taraqiati Bank, Faysal Bank, Habibmetro Bank Limited and Dubai Islamic Bank.
This year 200,000 pilgrims will be performing Hajj as the quota has been increased from 184,210.
