Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that Prime Minister Imran Khan’s visit to Malaysia will strengthen bilateral relations between two countries.
In an exclusive interview, FM said that the visit would convert friendly terms into strategic relations.
“Pakistan has signed three agreements with Malaysia in his recent visit. There are approximately 82,000 Pakistanis working in Malaysia. One of the agreements is aimed at protecting the rights of working Pakistanis. As per the agreement, in case of any Pakistani’s death in Malaysia, his family would receive pension back home,” he said.
The foreign minister further said that the remittances from Malaysia have increased by 35 percent in this year.
He added that PM has conveyed to his Malaysian counterpart that Pakistan wanted to end differences between Muslim countries.
