National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has increased the electricity tariff by Rs 2.37 per unit for a month.
According to the NEPRA, the increase in electricity price was due to the fuel price adjustment in the month of September
It is pertinent to mention here that NEPRA had previously increased the per-unit price of electricity by 0.52 Rs on September 27.
The decision to increase the price of electricity will not be applicable on K-electric consumers.
