Pakistan on Tuesday launched a special song on the Kartarpur corridor with a message of peace love and religious harmony.
The song welcomes Sikh pilgrims at Gurdwara Darbar Sahib on the occasion of the opening of the Kartarpur corridor and the 550th anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev.
According to details, while addressing the launching ceremony of the song Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Information and Broadcasting Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan said that it is the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan to protect and give freedom to all minorities.
She further stated that the release of this song will give the image of enlightened and moderate nation to the world and also it will portray the true face of Islam.
Earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan waived off two requirements for the Sikhs coming for the pilgrimage to Kartarpur from India.
Pakistan and India had agreed to open the corridor to the Kartarpur Gurdwara last year located in Pakistan on the occasion of 550th birth anniversary of Baba Guru Nanak.
