KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah Tuesday said that under Safe City Programme (SCP) ten thousand new Closed-Circuit Television camers (CCTV) are being installed in Karachi.
He stated this while talking to Ambassador of Norway to Pakistan Tore Nedrebo who called on him at chief minister house, said a spokesman for the chief minister.
CM Murad said that due to the improved law and order situation in the metropolis the hotel industry is growing and there is better environment for investment.
The ambassador felicitated the chief minister for restoration of law and order situation in the city and he also appreciated worth together in the field of energy, culture and bilateral relations.
He said that they were working at Bin Qasim power project. He showed interest for working in the field of solar energy and technical education with Sindh government.
The chief minister, on the occasion, offered him to be part in vocational training courses in the province. Adding that his government is working for the prosperity of the people.—APP
