United States has appreciated Pakistan's efforts to confront terrorism and terrorist organizations on its soil.

Addressing a press briefing in Washington, the acting spokesman for US State Department Mark Toner urged Afghanistan and Pakistan for joint efforts to defeat the menace of terrorism.
