LAHORE: Ten terrorists have been killed in an encounter with the Counter Terrorism Department at Manawan area in Lahore.

According to CTD sources, the police was carrying hardcore criminals in a van that all of a sudden, a bunch of terrorists carried out an attack on the police.

The police retaliated against it and killed ten attackers.

The slain terrorists belonged to a banned extremist organization and they were allegedly involved in the suicide attack at the Chairing Cross in Lahore.

Heavy cache of arms and ammunition has been recovered from the them. -Radio Pakistan
