Seven suspects assault and rob transgender individuals in Arifwala
A troubling incident unfolded in the city as seven suspects assaulted two transgender individuals and robbed them in Arifwala.
The attack took place in the Saddar police station area, where the victims were lured to a location and subjected to sexual assault.
During the assault, the suspects also stole mobile phones and gold jewelry from the victims.
The transgender individuals were reportedly en route to a wedding ceremony in District Layyah at the time of the incident.
Authorities have confirmed the arrest of one suspect, while the remaining six assailants managed to flee the scene. A case has been registered, and the police are actively pursuing the suspects.
