In Faisalabad, a shooting incident during a fair left two civilians dead, including a lawyer, and injured a third person.

The deceased lawyer, Hanan Rauf, was confronted by armed individuals after he, along with his brother Obaid Rauf and another individual, Waqar Saleem, attempted to stop them from causing a disturbance while consuming liquor at the event in Chak 202 RB Gatti Baba Bote Shah.

In response, the suspects opened fire, injuring all three men.

They were rushed to the hospital, but Hanan Rauf and Waqar Saleem later died from their injuries. Efforts are ongoing to save Obaid Rauf’s life.
