Joint investigation team formed to probe attack on Chinese nationals at Karachi Airport
A Joint Investigation Team (JIT) has been established to investigate the individuals implicated in the attack on Chinese nationals at Karachi Airport.
The JIT will conduct interrogations of the arrested suspects, Muhammad Javed and Gul Nisa.
The Sindh Home Department has released a notification announcing the formation of the JIT.
As per the notification, the DIG of the Counter-Terrorism Department will serve as the chairman, with participation from officers of all three intelligence agencies and the Rangers.
Additionally, personnel from the Special Branch, Karachi Police, and the FIA will be included in the team.

The JIT is authorized to seek assistance from any investigative agency as needed. After the interrogation of the suspects, a report will be submitted to the Home Department.
