A session court in Quetta on Tuesday acquitted two men who were handed a three-year sentence for allegedly making an indecent video of a girl.

The court in its order said that the prosecution failed to prove its charges against the two suspects identified as Hidayat Ullah and Khalil.

A judicial magistrate on October 11, 2023 found the two men guilty of making indecent video of a girl after confining her in a house in the Quaidabad area of Quetta on December 27, 2022.

During the investigation, indecent videos of several other girls were also recovered from them.

The judicial magistrate handed three-year jail term and a fine of Rs500,000 on each of the suspect.

However, the session court has now set aside the judicial magistrate’s verdict and ordered the release of the two men.
