The outbreak has come as millions of people across China are traveling within the country for the Lunar New Year week-long holiday, whereas thousands are also traveling abroad to their friends and families.

Coronaviruses can cause a range of symptoms including respiratory issues, fever, cough, shortness of breath and breathing difficulties. Mild symptoms include common cold, while more serious are likely to lead to pneumonia.
