The Supreme Court on Friday has declined to entertain Gen (retd) Pervez Musharraf’s appeal against his conviction and sentencing by the Special Court ruling in the high treason case, tells him to surrender first

According to the sources, the court office returned the appeal on the grounds that unless the petitioner surrenders himself, his plea cannot be entertained.

Earlier, on Jan 16,  Musharraf had filed the appeal against the decision to hand the death penalty to the former president in the apex court.
