Court extends Hamza Shahbazs judicial remand

Accountability court extended the judicial remand of Opposition Leader in Punjab Assembly Hamza Shahbaz in a case pertaining to Money Laundering till January 31.

Hamza Shehbaz was produced before an accountability court after his judicial remand in Money Laundering and Assets beyond income, the remand extended in Ramzan Sugar Mills’ case. Strict security arrangements made on the occasion to avoid any untoward incident.

Nab arrested Hamza after Lahore High Court rejected his applications for bail extension.

Lahore High Court (LHC) on Wednesday had sought a reply from National Accountability Bureau (NAB) till January 21 on a plea filed by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) vice president Maryam Nawaz for the removal of her name from Exit Control List (ECL).

A two-member bench of LHC heard the petition demanding to declare the decision of putting Maryam Nawaz’s name on ECL.
