This is how celebrities react to Pervez Musharraf's death sentence
Former Pakistan President and Army Chief General (retd) Pervez Musharraf was sentenced to death in a high treason case. The verdict it self has created alot of controversy and had very mixed reactions on social media. Some people have condemned the court verdict while many came in support of Pakistani judicatory.
Pakistani media industry also had a mixed reaction to the verdict.
After the verdict was passed against Musharraf, Mehwish Hayat tweeted:

Actor Shaan Shahid called Musharraf “a true Pakistani and a brave soldier,” who cannot be called a “traitor.”

On the other hand, Pakistani rapper and comedian Ali Gul Pir, said the judiciary must be respected and the military should keep its “anguish” to itself.

Earlier, on Tuesday The legal team of former military ruler, Ret. General Pervez Musharraf completely denounced the verdict issued by a special court in the high treason case.
