Stocks dropped swingeing on Tuesday soon after the special court announces a high treason case verdict against former president General Retired Pervez Musharraf.

According to the details, the 100 index fell almost 870 points just moments after the news broke, the index fell to 41 thousand, although it was trading at 41911 at the start of the day.

The index marched past a 13-month high to close at 41,644 points on Monday

It is pertinent to mention that earlier today, a special court-ordered death sentence to former president Pervez Musharraf in High treason case.

A three-member bench of the special court, headed by Peshawar High Court Chief Justice Waqar Ahmad Seth, took up the high treason case against former military ruler Pervez Musharraf today and handed him the death sentence.
